Sonu Nigam, Singing A Different Tune - July 18, 2000
After crooning away several hits at an age as young as his, the twenty-two year old Sonu Nigam seems ready to make it as a hero on-screen as well. He was coaxed into considering the possibility of making it in the movies by none other than Ramesh Taurani of Tips. And sure enough Sonu has relented finally. These days the choclate singer, besides of course shunting from one recording studio to the other also packs in a bit of power, visiting his gymnasium regularly. Of course, he realises he needs to build muscle to wield authority on screen. After all flexing one's vocal chords is one thing. Flexing one's biceps is another altogether. So what say Sonu, will you hit the right notes this time as well.
