Stale news that Sonu is all set to make his debut in films. The film in question is a romantic musical, titled Ankhon Hi Ankhon Mein and is being produced by Ripples Pictures Entertainment.
The men behind this production are Sudesh Iyer, Rajesh Bhatia and Hemang Desai. The film will be directed by Akashdeep. According to the makers : "The year 2000 was the year of Hrithik Roshan. The year 2001 will be the year of Sonu Nigam."
But gossip has it that Sonu claims to have received at least 10 offers and has decided to do his first film with TIPS. And mind you, if you did not already know, that for the past few albums he has exclusive been singing with T-Series. And now TIPS!
Anyway the film has yet to finalise the female lead but is slated for release in July.
