The music show Sa Re Ga Ma on Zee seems to have done a world of good for singer Sonu Nigam. There was a lull in his singing career and the show gave his career a shot in the arm. It was only after the show went on air that he actually shot to fame singing for films like Border, Gharwali Baharwali and Pardes, topping it off with his album Tu.
The latest on Sonu's front is that he is turning composer (music director) with a serial called Yehi To Pyar Hai, being produced by Bollywood villain Sujit Kumar's son Jatin and Deepak Mukul under the banner Icon International. It's a musical romantic soap which has twenty songs composed and sung by Nigam and is approved for Zee.
